Wyoming based beef folks at Meadow Maid Foods raise 100% Grass fed/Grass Finished beef. 2024 Price is $6.95/lb on the Hang weight of the whole animal, which usually averages ~525lbs for the whole, so a quarter will be ~132 lbs x $6.95. Remember just like pork, hang weights are the carcass weight, not the finished product weight.....I generally assume around a 65-70% yield from the hang weight.
